Marissa Kane is a third year music education student at Ithaca College. Her primary instrument is the saxophone and she currently studies under Dr. Eric Troiano, previously under Steven Banks. Marissa grew up in the Poconos, PA, and also has extensive experience with wind, pit, and jazz ensembles as well as marching band. She currently student teaches at Caroline Elementary, teaching various instruments including clarinet, trumpet, and saxophone. She also teaches private lessons in person and virtually with students as far as New York City. Marissa is looking forward to working with and getting to know the youth ensembles of the First Congregational Church of Ithaca.
