I grew up in a small town next to Watkins Glen, NY and have stayed in the area my entire life. I worked as a caregiver for 6 years in facilities and private homes, caring mostly for elderly with dementia. I served 5 years in the Air Force Reserves as a logistics specialist. This gave me the opportunity to travel all across our country, to Germany, England and also a 7 month deployment to Kuwait.
My daughter Carmen is currently two years old and she teaches me something new everyday. My stepson Cooper is also two, so my home life is where most of my nursery experience has been gained.
I am continuing my education currently at Tompkins Cortland Community College through their Human Services program. I am pursuing a career in social work.
