Holiday Services

Please join us for our special services during the Advent and Christmas season.

Music Sunday

  • Sunday, December 15 at 10 a.m.
  • The Senior choir offers the only local presentation of Part I (the Christmas portion) of Handel’s Messiah, with strings trumpets, and soloists, conducted by music director William Cowdery.
Service of the Longest Night
  • Wednesday, December 18 at 5:00 p.m. will be our Blue Christmas Service. Advent and Christmas are not a joyous season for everyone. The recent loss of a loved one, financial difficulties, separation or divorce, illness, and the darkness and cold of December can make Christmas difficult for many of us. Please come and join us at this restful and meditative service, and know that you are not alone.
Advent Garden
  • Thursday, December 19 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. and December 20 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. This beautiful reflective winter festival brings home the inner meaning of Christmas and many winter festivals the world over: traveling through darkness to Divine Light, receiving that Light and bearing it back out into the world.
Brass Quintet & Carol Sing
  • Sunday, December 22 at 10 a.m.  This Sunday service will feature special music by a brass quintet followed by a carol sing.
Christmas Eve Services
  • Tuesday, December 24 at 5 p.m. is our Family Service, with a children’s pageant and several music ensembles.
  • Tuesday, December 24 at 7:30 p.m. is our traditional candlelit Christmas Lessons and Carols service.
